Batavia Ohio manufacturing company is seeking a 1st shift Team Leader. Pay $18-22. Monday-Thursday 5:45a-4:30p

Responsibilities/ Principal Duties:

Planning:

• Review SMT schedules daily to monitor cell output.

• Report order status in production meetings. Accurately predict cell output within ½ day.

• Communicate as needed with cell leaders to keep production on schedule and achieve our goal of 100% on-time delivery.

• Communicate staffing needs to production manager and work together to staff the cell appropriately.

Production:

• Assist employees with verification and startups on all production orders within the cell.

• Co-ordinate daily responsibilities with Pre-Loaders.

• Troubleshoot & adjust/fix SMT machines as needed to restore proper operation.

• Perform Time Studies: Log Run times and communicate target times to employees for the product they are working on and hold them accountable for their numbers.

• Recommend process improvement where needed.

• If a lot is rejected at inspection, the sort will be performed by the responsible cell.

• Initiate Downtime Log when production has stopped or reached an unacceptable level of quality.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: Two years-experience on electromechanical or SMT placement equipment.
