The SMT Touch-Up & Rework Technician is responsible for performing various duties within the SMT assembly area in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
· Precision Soldering on PCBAs
· The Operator must be able to interpret drawings, bills of material, manuals and other work instructions.
· Must work safely to prevent on-the-job injuries, this includes wearing personal protective equipment such as safety glasses.
· Detects malfunctions of the assembly equipment through visual and audio ques.
· Communicates with the Senior Technician and QC personnel to resolve quality issues.
· Makes appropriate entries into Travelers, Time Standards and the Work Order Document Package.
· Maintains traceability of product.
Preferred, but not Required
2-Years experience Soldering Electronic Components for PCBAs
IPC 610 trained
JEDEC J-STD-001 trained
Extra IPC standards knowledge is a plus
Familiar with ESD / MSL requirements for components and PCB/PCBAs
