SOS Logistics is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated part-time courier to join our team.
Job Summary:
The part-time courier will be responsible for providing pickup and delivery services of case files and other court documents to a set location in a timely and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, a clean driving record, and a strong sense of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver packages and documents to specified locations according to a set schedule.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all items.
Handle packages with care and ensure they are securely transported.
Maintain communication with the dispatcher or manager regarding delivery status and any issues that arise.
Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safety and compliance.
Perform basic vehicle maintenance and keep the delivery vehicle clean and in good working condition.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Previous experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred but not required.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to lift and carry packages up to 50 pounds.
Familiarity with the local area and navigation tools/apps.
