Role Overview:

As the Chief Technology Officer at SOULCHI, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical landscape of our organization during this critical pre-revenue phase. You will oversee all technical aspects of the company, drive technological strategies, and ensure that the use of technological resources are in alignment with our overarching mission and objective. Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Strategy : * Develop and implement the company's technology strategy and plans. * Ensure that technological resources meet the company's short and long-term needs. * Create timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
2. Leadership and Management : * Lead and manage the IT and engineering teams. * Ensure the company's technological processes and service comply with all requirements, laws, and regulations. * Conduct research to improve the technological assets of the company.
3. Innovation and Development : * Identify and implement new technologies that yield a competitive advantage. * Help departments use technology profitably. * Supervise system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
4. Collaboration : * Communicate technology strategy to partners and investors. * Work with other executives to establish governance processes of direction and control to ensure objectives are achieved, risks are managed appropriately, and the organization's resources are used responsibly. * Build quality assurance and data protection processes.
5. Product Development : * Oversee software development and ensure that products are designed with adherence to best practices and quality standards. * Ensure continuous delivery of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring performance.
6. Risk Management : * Identify, compare, select, and implement technology solutions to meet current and future needs. * Develop disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure continued operation of business-critical functions.

Qualifications

• Experience :
  • Proven experience as a CTO or similar leadership role.
  • Engineering, computer science, or related technology background preferred.
  • Experience in a start-up environment, bringing app to market quickly or experience in multiple SaaS organizations.
  • Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy.
  • Ability to translate the CEO/Founder's vision for global transformation into engaging user experience that activates humanity to cause the changes that will result in a world that works for everyone.
• Skills : * Excellent knowledge of technology systems and infrastructure. * Strong understanding of budgets and business-planning. * Ability to bring app to market quickly without compromising quality. * Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. * Leadership and organizational abilities.

• Experience with data analysis and machine learning technologies.

Equity-Based Compensation Opportunity:

As part of the SOULCHI team, you'll take part in our equity-based compensation model, aligning your success with the success of our business. After much research, we have found the fairest equity model for a startup. We use the Slicing Pie model. The first phase is equity-based only, which we are currently in. Equity calculations move dynamically based on your fair market rate and actual number of hours worked. In the second phase, which happens at the break-even point, the equity freezes at each member's current earned percentage, and compensation switches to salary + benefits. Your equity percentage gets paid out annually as part of the profit sharing. This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to own a piece of the future.
