    JOB OVERVIEW:

    Ensure the maintenance of the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all aspects of the operation. Responsible for monitoring spa facilities, ensuring positive and friendly guest relations. Attendant observes all activity within assigned areas, offering assistance to guests/visitors.

    REPORTS TO: Spa Supervisor / Spa Management

    SUPERVISES: No One

    WORK ENVIRONMENT:

    · Job involves working: Main: locker rooms, relaxation areas, SPA Pool Trace. Secondary: All spa areas

    · While standing for up to 8 hours including stair climbing to access various locations within spa

    · Lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.

    · Under variable temperature conditions (or extreme heat or cold)

    · Under variable noise levels

    · Outdoors/indoors

    KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

    Internal: Staff in Spa, Pool, Grounds, Food and Beverage, Rooms, Laundry, Housekeeping and Engineering

    External: Hotel guests/visitors, Spa members.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Essential:

    1. Oral proficiency in English language.

    2. Experience in Guest Service or similar experience.

    3. Positive demeanour.

    4. Commitment to spa needs, colleagues, and guests.

    1. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
    2. Must be self-motivated.
    3. Must be flexible and able to work efficiently under pressure.
    4. Must work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.

    9. Ability to:

    a. Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

    b. Prioritize, organize and follow-up

    c. Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment.

    d. Follow directions thoroughly

    e. Understand guest service needs

    f. Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team

    g. Work with minimal supervision

    h. Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data

    Desirable: Fluency in a second language preferably Spanish, Portuguese or Russian
