    The SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) Incident Manager will lead incident response processes, ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of critical systems. This role acts as the central point of coordination during incidents, driving resolution, root cause analysis, and proactive improvement to minimize recurrence. The SRE Incident Manager will work closely with engineering, operations, and product teams to align incident management strategies with organizational goal.

    Job Description:

    Lead incident response, restore services quickly, and act as the primary escalation point.

    Own on-call processes, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient escalation.

    Conduct post-incident reviews, document root causes, and implement corrective actions.

    Define and monitor incident metrics (e.g., MTTR, MTTD) and implement automated monitoring.

    Develop and enhance incident management processes and playbooks.

    Collaborate with teams to implement scalable and resilient solutions.

    Qualifications:

    Expertise in cloud computing (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), AWS, SQL/NoSQL databases, and networking.

    Knowledge of monitoring tools, caching, load balancing, DNS, CDN, and SRE principles.

    Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills.

    Proficient in RESTful/GRPC services, event-driven architectures, microservices, and testing.

    Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software development best practices.

    Experience:

    10+ years in IT, 8+ years in SRE leadership, 6+ years in software engineering, and 5+ years in public cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure).

    Hands-on experience with automated testing and supervising technical teams.

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent experience.
