About Us: Detach Reset Solar is expanding, and we’re looking for a Solar Scheduling Manager to join our growing team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, excel at scheduling and logistics, and have a passion for renewable energy, this role is for you.
Position Overview: As a Solar Scheduling Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling crews to ensure the successful execution of solar projects. Your role will be essential in maintaining efficiency, meeting deadlines, and optimizing workflow. Strong organizational and communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities:
Schedule and dispatch installation crews for solar projects - Ensure that the right teams are assigned to each project based on availability, skill level, and project requirements. Efficient scheduling minimizes downtime and maximizes productivity.
Coordinate project timelines and ensure all teams are on track
Communicate effectively with crew leads, homeowners, and internal teams - Act as the central point of contact, keeping all stakeholders informed on project progress, changes, and expectations. Clear communication helps prevent misunderstandings and ensures smooth project execution.
Ensure all necessary materials and equipment are available for scheduled projects - Work closely with the warehouse and procurement teams to confirm that each crew has the tools, solar panels, mounting equipment, and safety gear needed for every job.
Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed - Track ongoing projects to ensure they stay on schedule. If delays occur, quickly implement solutions such as reallocating resources or adjusting crew assignments to minimize impact.
Address any scheduling conflicts or delays to keep projects moving efficiently - Identify and resolve issues that may cause project delays, such as crew availability, weather disruptions, or supply shortages. Proactively find alternatives to keep work progressing.
Maintain accurate records of job schedules and crew assignments -Keep detailed logs of work assignments, project completion times, and crew performance. These records help track efficiency, identify areas for improvement, and ensure payroll accuracy.
Assist with workflow optimization to improve overall project efficiency - Continuously evaluate processes to streamline operations, reduce downtime, and improve productivity. Provide feedback to leadership on how to enhance scheduling strategies and crew management.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in project management, scheduling, or logistics (solar industry preferred)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in scheduling software and project management tools
Knowledge of solar installations is a plus
