SVkids Summer Internship Severns Valley Baptist Church

Ready to make a difference this summer? Jump into real ministry and help shape the next generation of Jesus-followers! The SVkids Summer Internship is your chance to grow in your walk with the Lord, gain hands-on experience in children's ministry, and serve families with love and purpose.

Position Type:

Seasonal Internship (8–12 weeks)

Part-Time: 20–25 hours/week

You’ll Get To:

Lead and serve in weekly SVkids programming (birth–5th grade)

Help plan and run VBS, summer camps, and fun family events

Assist with curriculum prep, storytelling, worship, and more!

Encourage volunteers and support parents

Build your leadership skills in a gospel-centered, Southern Baptist church

What We’re Looking For:

A growing Christian with a heart for kids and families

Someone excited to learn, lead, and work hard for God’s Kingdom

A teachable team player who loves Jesus and loves people

Why SVkids? You won’t just be running goldfish crackers to classrooms (though we do love a good snack!). You’ll be part of something bigger—helping children know Jesus, love His Word, and grow in faith.
