Regional Sales Manager - Southwest
Are you a seasoned sales professional looking to make a significant impact in the Plastics/Polymer Processing Manufacturing Industry?
We're seeking a dynamic Regional Sales Manager to join our growing team. As a Regional Sales Manager, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth in the Southwest region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute annual sales plans and budgets.
- Identify and target key market segments, applications, and customers.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers, distributors, and decision-makers.
- Conduct market research and identify sales opportunities.
- Provide quotes and ensure competitive pricing.
- Manage the sales pipeline using a CRM system.
- Analyze sales data to improve win rates.
- Maintain knowledge of industry specifications and customer requirements
- Closely coordinates sales development in the Energy (Oil & Gas initial focus, then expanding new energy markets)
- Represent the company at regional trade shows and industry events.
- Ability to travel (60%+)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (technical field preferred)
- Must have 8+ years of sales experience in the Plastics/Polymer Processing Manufacturing Industry
- Proven experience selling specialty products
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Proficiency in PC (MS Windows, Salesforce, ERP systems)
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus!
