Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree or related experience strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of relevant experience required.
- Proficiency with security technology and office equipment required.
- Ability to adapt to emergencies and changing priorities.
- Has Unquestioned integrity and commitment to the KIPP Columbus vision and community.
- Has knowledge of academic campus environments and facilities policies, procedures, security, and safety practices; equipment operation (e.g., fire, and security alarms, call boxes, radios, general office equipment).
- Has ability to deal with a variety of variables in a somewhat unfamiliar context through critical thinking; apply principles to solve practical everyday problems. Complete routine forms, maintain accurate records and public relations.
- Excellent problem solving and decision-making ability
- Desire to continuously learn and increase effectiveness as a professional
- Belief that outstanding school leaders, staff, and teachers can achieve excellent outcomes for all students
