Field Safety Advisor | Underground Utility

Professional Safety Solutions, LLC is hiring an experienced Underground Utility Safety Professional for a project in San Diego, CA. The start date for this position is Monday, April 28th. An active CUSP certification is required.
Our Expectations:
Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe serve in a dual role: where the initial objective is to operate in a consultative capacity by providing expert support, guidance, and motivation to operations management and employees at all levels. In addition, along with management, the Health and Safety Professionals at ProSafe are expected to be a hands-on partner in delivering various safety initiatives and programs specifically to develop an excellent safety culture.
Responsibilities:
• Daily documentation and communication of contractor safety progress
• Team coverage
• Incident investigations
• Weekly project and update meetings
• Pre-Con safety support
• Daily documentation of safety observations
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of underground utility civil/trenching safety experience
• Current CUSP required
• Minimum of an OSHA 30
• Strong and positive communication skills and an understanding of the philosophy of positive safety culture development.
This position per diem is $150/day for days worked. A company truck and fuel card is provided. Pay is commensurate to experience.
