Compensation: $41,600 base + up to $2,500+/mo bonuses
Position Overview
Wise Pelican is hiring Account Executives who are ready to launch and grow a high-impact sales career. This is an entry-level role with a fast-track path to a senior sales role. New hires begin by focusing on lead engagement via power dialing 200+ calls per day to our inbound lead database , then grow into full-cycle sales execution responsibilities.
If you're comfortable on the phone, quick to build rapport, and hungry to learn, this role offers a clear path to sales success with hands-on training and coaching.
Key Responsibilities
Initial Phase – Outbound Calling & Pipeline Development
- Conduct high-volume outbound calling to engage warm and cold leads.
- Re-activate older prospects through structured calling campaigns in HubSpot.
- Set discovery appointments and identify sales opportunities through conversation.
- Learn Wise Pelican's ideal customer profile and speak confidently to common needs and objections.
Ongoing Performance
- Maintain clean and accurate deal records in HubSpot.
- Participate in coaching, sales training, and weekly performance reviews.
- Track and report progress toward monthly revenue targets and activity metrics.
Career Progression
This role is designed to grow into a Senior Account Executive position.
Advancement includes:
- Ownership of full sales cycle from initial outreach to close.
- Increased earning potential through higher-value opportunities
- Running discovery calls and product demos with qualified prospects.
- Guiding potential customers through pricing, features, and onboarding expectations.
- Use HubSpot CRM to track activity and pipeline stages accurately.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and follow-ups.
Team members will have access to:
- Weekly call reviews and personalized coaching
- Sales training (Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, etc.)
- Defined performance milestones tied to promotion readiness
- Your performance will be evaluated every 6 months for potential promotions
Qualifications & Experience
- 1–2 years in a customer-facing role (sales, call center, BDR, or similar)
- Strong verbal communication and phone presence
- High energy, detail-oriented, and coachable
- Experience using CRM software (HubSpot preferred) and other sales engagement tools.

Compensation & Benefits
