The Role As our Sales Account Manager, you will design and implement innovative sales strategies to meet—and exceed—ambitious targets. You’ll build and maintain strong customer relationships, act quickly on potential leads, and qualify opportunities with speed and precision. With over 120 installations across 26 states, you have significant room to expand your territory. We anticipate aggressive growth, and we want someone who’s excited to grow with us.
Beyond the numbers, you will be delivering hope to some of the most vulnerable individuals in our communities. Working closely with customers, you will identify their needs, present creative solutions to complex problems, and serve as a trusted advisor at every stage of the sales cycle.
Qualifications
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling capital equipment with sales cycles of 6–8 months.
Customer Engagement: Comfortable working with C-suite and executives in county and state governments.
Technical Expertise: Solid understanding of spectroscopy; hyperspectral solutions experience is a plus. Ability to communicate complex technical information simply and persuasively—focusing on the solution, not just the equipment.
Personal Attributes: Positive, energetic, and driven, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Able to inspire and motivate customers to see the true value of our offerings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responsible for meeting or exceeding the sales and margin target/quota as defined by the Director of Sales.
· Meets and exceeds sales goals via effective territory management
· Responsible for delivering new sales while maintaining excellent communication with existing customers
· Responsible for building relationships with regional accounts, and distribution partners
· Responsible for Training, joint sales calls, end-user presentations.
· Manages the sales efforts, including the following: Goal setting and territory management. Training and joint sales calls
Prepare for and attend key regional and national trade shows
· Allocates time to office work to create strategy, set up appointments, complete management reports, and prepares for upcoming presentations and conference calls with sales teams
· Resolves customer issues professionally with internal team
· Performs all other duties/responsibilities as necessary or assigned Identify, attend, and coordinate tradeshows to promote the company’s products in the corrections market.
Cold calling and direct sales outreach through phone, email and qualified in-person meetings.
Assist sales team to capture sales.
Develop and manage sales channels to expand the company’s reach in the jail and prison market.

Collaborate with service, marketing and product development to ensure customer satisfaction.
Work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
Collaborate with marketing to acquire voice of customer data and market trends to inform product development and generate sales strategies.
Strategic
Define and refine territory sales plan.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
· Administrative Utilize the company’s CRM system to ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions and sales data while presenting a clear view on customer progression through the sales funnel.
