Our client is seeking a dedicated Sales Account Manager to establish strong relationships with clients in the food and nutrition market, providing innovative solutions to meet their needs and drive growth.
**This is a remote role, must be based out of these states: PA, NJ, MD or OH**
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to client sites regularly to build strong client relationships, provide on-site support, and ensure seamless project execution
- Build and maintain productive, long-term relationships with customers, understanding their business challenges and addressing them effectively.
- Identify, prioritize, and pursue new sales opportunities within the market.
- Manage a structured approach for tracking leads, expanding client contacts, and nurturing client connections.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements to inform strategic decisions.
- Regularly update internal stakeholders on market and customer insights.
- Collaborate on growth initiatives with top suppliers and identify emerging opportunities within the Food & Nutrition Vertical.
- Maintain a strong, active Opportunity Pipeline to drive sales growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years of sales experience in the food and nutrition market preferred.
- Strong sales background, with a track record of client success and industry contacts.
- Excellent communication skills, self-motivated, and adaptable to dynamic market demands.
- Willing to travel 50% of the time (primarily by vehicle).
Compensation: $120,000-130,000 base salary, plus uncapped commission, as well as a possible sign on bonus! Expected first year on-target earnings (OTE) are in the range of $200,000 to $230,000, based on performance and incentives.
