Responsibilities: Please note, that this is a sales position! • Collaborate with clients to assess their insurance needs, financial goals, and risk tolerance, gaining a comprehensive understanding of their financial profiles. • Present tailored insurance solutions from New York Life’s portfolio, providing clear explanations of features, benefits, and options to support informed decision-making. • Design and execute effective sales strategies, set clear objectives, and actively seek new client opportunities through networking, community outreach, and lead-generation efforts. • Assist clients throughout the application process by gathering necessary information, completing documentation, and collaborating with underwriters to facilitate seamless policy issuance. • Build strong, lasting client relationships by conducting regular reviews, providing ongoing support, and updating coverage to align with clients’ evolving needs. • Uphold all regulatory standards, ethical practices, and company policies, safeguarding client confidentiality and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current on industry trends, product updates, and advanced sales strategies, enhancing the quality of client service. • Work collaboratively with New York Life’s team of underwriters and financial advisors to deliver comprehensive, customized financial solutions for clients. Qualifications: Please note, this is a sales position! • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred, with a proven record of meeting or exceeding performance goals. • Strong verbal and written communication skills are critical for building rapport with clients and effectively explaining complex insurance products. • Skilled in actively listening to clients, understanding their financial objectives, and recommending appropriate insurance solutions. • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and maintain focus on personal and professional success. • Proficient in assessing client needs, identifying potential risks, and delivering customized solutions. • Knowledge of life insurance, annuities, and retirement planning is beneficial; however, comprehensive training will be provided. • Dedicated to upholding industry regulations, ensuring client confidentiality, and operating with the highest integrity. • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related discipline is preferred but not required. • Must be willing to obtain a state Life & Health insurance license if not already licensed; New York Life offers sponsorship and support for the licensing process. • (Preferred): Fluency in additional languages, such as Spanish, Vietnamese, or Chinese, is a valuable asset for serving diverse client communities. Compensation: $60,000 - $91,000 yearly
