We're seeking a skilled Sales and Business Development Representative to join our team at Logistics Worldwide. As a Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for building your own book of business while handling your customers' supply chain needs 24/7/365. If you have a Non-Compete, NDA, Employment Agreement, etc., that is not an issue with us, just bring it up and lets work through it.
Key Responsibilities:
· Freight Brokerage Account Management: Collaborate with our experienced team members to deliver exceptional customer service and manage our customers' freight needs.
· Close new and existing customers to move their freight
· High Volume Interactions: Manage the movement of our clients' goods, ensuring they are picked up, transported safely, and delivered on time according to their expectations.
· Rate Negotiations: Secure opportunities through effective transactional and contract rate discussions.
· Team Collaboration: Work with our internal teams to deliver top-notch freight solutions.
· Shipment Tracking: Collaborate with carrier partners and shippers to oversee the full lifecycle of every shipment in your given book of business.

Your first month
· Continue to develop a portfolio of clients by cold calling using our provided industry leads
· Understand how to negotiate pricing to close the deal
· Take charge of client service issues to the point of resolution
· Be open to coaching and learning while putting in the time and effort to be successful
· Update tracking system accurately throughout the day
Your first six months
· Be the trusted advisor to your customer, helping manage their logistics challenges
· Liaise with Logistics Coordinators to help shoulder your load and allow you to bring in more business
· Seek out promotional opportunities to move up the ranks
· Maintain a strong understanding of the industry, including rates, capacities, and carriers.
Your first year and after

Our ideal candidate
· Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
· Logistics brokerage experience required
· 2 years cold calling experience required
· Availability to work full-time, 100% in-office
