Since January 2017 Broekhof is active in Miami, Florida. From our location in Doral we supply our North American customers with a broad range of products from the extensive collection of Broekhof in The Netherlands.
Broekhof USA not only offers sleeves, but also buckets, decoration picks, florists supplies and much more. Broekhof also has its own design team in The Netherlands offering innovative eco-friendly packaging, custom-made solutions and designs for sleeves and other items.
Summary of the position Is co-responsible for achieving optimal results in turnover and profitability through proactive support to Office Account Managers and Account Managers.
Responsibilities and core tasks
Relationship Management
Has contact with assigned clients to manage/develop new relationships.
· Is responsible for in-house sales
· Follows up on sales initiatives
· Provides support to the office account manager
· Is (co)responsible for achieving commercial objectives
· Keeps the customers informed about all ongoing matters (deliveries, backorders, stocks, etc)
· Monitors the accounts and maintains relationships
Product Information
Provides the correct product information based on customer inquiries.
· Advises customers and offers alternatives where necessary
Processing customer orders
Registers and processes customer orders by choosing the most appropriate approach based on predefined options
· Processes orders and prices in the system
· Enters and verifies sales orders
· Records price and condition agreements
· Sends confirmation to the customer upon acceptance of the quote.
Handling complaints
Addresses simple customer problems/complaints such as returns, price differences, and exchanges. In the case of larger complaints, involves the office account manager.
· Records complaints
· Is responsible for follow-up and resolutions of simple complaints.
CRM Data (Customer Relationship Management)
Enters relevant information into the CRM system after each contact with a customer, ensuring that the organization has the right information and can effectively work on customer retention and business development.
· Inputs data into the system
· Keeps the system up to date
Operational Compliance
Follows internal procedures to ensure that executed work meets the required quality standards.
· Creates and completes sales orders
· Updates customer portals and logistics portals of the customer
· Handles rush orders
· Sends inventory overviews to the customer
· Requests internal samples
· Sends negotiated price agreements to the customer
· Reviews backorder lists and takes action where necessary
Inventory Monitoring
Conducts inventory monitoring according to the standard norms.
· Monitors the stock of customer-specific items in our warehouse
· Procures timely (with customer consent) to ensure inventory is always at the required level
