    Position: Sales Assistant

    📍 Location: Norwich, CT (Occasional shifts in Mystic, as needed)

    As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting both our sales team and administrative staff. Your contributions will help ensure our customers have a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Answer multi-line phone calls, transfer calls, and relay messages.

    Manage text messaging platforms, directing inquiries appropriately.

    Assist with updating ETAs on purchase orders.

    Maintain and update customer lists.

    Support the Sales Manager with website maintenance.

    Handle inbound email leads from the website.

    Help maintain a clean and organized sales floor.

    Assist Store Managers with customer concerns and escalate issues as needed.

    Communicate inventory updates to the sales team.

    Process customer payments and maintain transaction records.

    Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication.

    Update customer information in our system for optimal service.

    Draft correspondence regarding customer account status or issue resolution.

    Provide backup phone coverage and assist colleagues when needed.

    Demonstrate professionalism, especially when handling difficult customer interactions.
