We are looking for a sales professional (or someone who can learn very quick) to work in our corporate headquarters located in Newburgh, New York.
The schedule would ideally be: NO REMOTE WORK
Mondays from 9am to 1pm (4 hours) or 9am to 5pm (8 hours).
Thursday from 9am to 1pm (4 hours) or 9am to 5pm (8 hours).
8 to 16 hours a week to start.
You will be expected to do the following:
Monday morning, you will present a list of micro goals to be accomplished for the week at our weekly staff meeting. Mr. B (CEO) may be present, or he may not be (may do a conference who knows). It really depends on how his back is feeling in the morning. Either way, you MUST be present and be prepared to speak in front of other office team members.
Arrive to work. Log into the CRM to view VERY COLD LEADS we assigned you. Go down the list and call everyone to find out (1) if they have security guard services (and if so, who are they using if they wish to disclose this -- You are NOT to talk bad about our competitors as its tacky), (2) would they ever consider using security guard services, (3) schedule a meeting to learn more about their needs in greater detail and present our company as a solution to all of their safety and security related concerns, and (4) draft a proposal and submit to our CEO for approval before sending it to the prospect.
You will be expected to attend any sales meetings you arrange along side senior management. If it is on an off day, you will be paid for attending it. If you can not attend, set it for senior management to attend.
When you have exhausted any lead list(s), you are to support our team with looking for even more leads, and repeating the same process.
You will be expected to follow up on ALL leads.
You will be expected to call AND send emails.
You will be expected to prepare marketing mailers to be sent to prospects. (all supplies including stamps provided).
You must keep track of ALL of your progress in the CRM system. This will help you stay organized.
That is is. Very simple and straight forwarded.
Depending on how you hit the floor running, we may consider more hours or a transition to full-time at a later date. You will be trained by a security legend for the first few weeks. Thereafter it is sink or swim.
Benefits/Perks:
Base hourly wage.
Bonus for meetings held.
Commission for work awarded from your efforts for the life of your employment.
Company credit card (very small limit until we get to know you -- for work expenses only).
Your own office or private workspace.
Bonus & Commission Scale:
+$25.00 per student booked, paid, and attended class (training -- once per occurrence)
+$50.00 per event booking held (security staffing -- once per occurrence)
+$50.00 per meeting set and held (security staffing -- once per occurrence)
+$0.50 (SHORT CONTRACTS WON) on the dollar for every hour (bi-weekly period) of a short-term contract (security staffing -- up to 2 weeks). Example: 40 weekly hours won x 2 = 80 hours in a 2 week period. $0.50 x 80 = an extra $40 per check.
+$0.25 (LONG-TERM CONTRACTS WON) on the dollar for every hour (bi-weekly period) of a long-term contract (security staffing over 2 weeks) for the life of the contract while you are employed by us. Example: 168 weekly hours won x 2 = 336 hours in a 2 week period. $0.25 x 336 = an extra $84 per check. If you work 16 hours a week, this basically translates to a raise of $2.62 raise on the hour.
We set it up this way too incentive you to want to get contracts. The best part is we are not going to cap it.
Please do not think you are going to show up and get paid to pick your nose for 8 hours and not get anything done! We do not have much tissues to share anyway. Thanks. :-)
There is MUCH potential to grow into more hours, a higher salary, and possibly a promotion to a regional sales manager title based on your efforts and work product. Everyone starts off at the bottom and works their way up by showing their worth. No exceptions.
We want to hear your phone voice and phone etiquette. If you apply, call our office to let us know you applied and we will take it from there. (845) 244-1832.
