Flooring Sales Associate We’re seeking a customer-focused sales professional with experience in flooring or construction to join our Wausau team. You’ll assist customers in selecting the right flooring solutions and help drive store success through excellent service and product knowledge. The ideal candidate should have 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the construction or flooring industry. Your primary objective will be to meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Store Hours: Monday - Friday 9a-6p, Saturday 9a-3p. Responsibilities: • Negotiate and close sales deals while following company pricing and profitability guidelines • Develop and nurture meaningful connections with clients, old and new, to boost retention rates and sales • Collaborate with internal teams, such as installation and customer service, to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction • Have a high level of awareness of market developments, product releases, and competitors • Identify and prospect potential customers Qualifications: • Applicant must have strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills • Have a valid driver's license and be able to travel as required • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED); a Bachelor’s preferred • Proficient use of sales tools, including customer relationship management (CRM) • Preferred: 3 years of sales experience Compensation: $70,000 base + commission
