Job Summary: Karin’s Florist, in Vienna, VA, is expanding our Sales Department! We are looking for part- and full-time Sales Associates who have a passion for succeeding in a friendly and fast-paced retail environment and can provide a high level of client/customer satisfaction.

Successful candidates will have an interest in flowers, a passion for retail, and a positive attitude!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting floral arrangements suitable for their occasions and preferences.

· Provide advice on flower types, colors and arrangements, taking into account seasonal availability and customer preferences.

· Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately

· Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves and arranging displays

· Handle customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, striving to exceed customer expectations.

· Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure repeat business

· Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.

Requirements:

· Previous experience in retail sales or a related field is preferred

· Strong communication skills

· Excellent time management and organizational skills

· Proficient in using POS systems and other sales-related software

· Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

· Phone etiquette skills for handling customer inquiries over the phone
