Job Summary
Robert Tylisz Appliance is looking for an experienced full-time or part-time appliance Salesperson to join our growing company! As a member of the Sales team, you will be the face and voice of the company, routinely engaging customers in person, by phone and text message about our products and services. Your primary role is to provide outstanding customer service by helping customers find and purchase the home appliances that best meet their needs. As you advance the company's sales objectives, you will continue to grow and learn about the appliance industry's best sales practices and new products/models coming onto the market. You will be challenged to process customer sales in a timely manner, remain calm while addressing short-fuse requirements or customer complaints, and retain customers through your excellent customer service. The salesperson also oversees the showroom floor, arranging product displays, keeping the floor organized, tidy and stocked with relevant products.
Responsibilities:
Greet and engage customers about their appliance needs, listen and guide them to suitable merchandise on the showroom floor, use your product knowledge to answer questions on brands and features, complete sales that match customer requirements, schedule deliveries of products to customers' homes
Contribute to sales goals and build positive customer relationships by providing outstanding customer service to all customers
Answer calls and text messages to respond to sales, service and delivery questions
Oversee and maintain neat, orderly showroom floor
Master computer point-of-sale system to process sales, take payments, and arrange delivery and repair service schedules
Grow your knowledge of new products, common repair issues and replacement parts
Maintain professional appearance and courteous, professional demeanor with all customers at all times
Qualifications:
Experience and proven success in retail sales, preferably appliance sales
Personable, attentive and friendly attitude
Ability to stand for long periods of time and work in fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn, expand and improve your sales and customer service skill sets
