Responsibilities: • Develop and execute strategic plans to source and secure new leads, expand the customer base, and achieve sales targets • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing consistent, high-quality service and support • Conduct in-office and field meetings with potential and existing customers to discuss their framing needs and propose tailored solutions • Collaborate with framing crews and other key stakeholders to monitor project progress, address any issues, and ensure completion within the set timelines and budget • Understand industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to inform sales strategies and business decisions • Work closely with the design and estimating teams to ensure accurate project proposals, quotes, and contracts • Provide leadership and direction to the sales team, setting clear goals and performance metrics to drive accountability and results Qualifications: • A bachelor's degree in business, construction management, or a related field • Experience in sales within the construction industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets • Strong understanding of wood framing construction processes, materials, and market requirements • Wood Species Identification: Recognizing different species of wood and understanding their unique characteristics and typical uses • Measurement and Dimensions: Proficiency in measuring lumber, including knowledge of board feet, linear feet, thickness, width, and length • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients and team members • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft Office Suite • Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and site visits Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000 yearly
