    Job Description

    The Sales Compensation Analyst will serve as the main point of contact for all sales commission activities, supporting the SportsEngine Go-to-Market teams.

    • In collaboration with key leaders, help develop, modify, and implement sales compensation structures and incentive programs that align with company goals.
    • Using advanced techniques, analyze sales performance data and compensation metrics to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
    • Oversee sales compensation management systems and related reporting, ensuring accurate calculations, reporting clarity, and timely distribution of commissions, bonuses/SPIFs, and sales contest payouts.
    • In collaboration with HR and Legal teams, ensure compensation plans comply with legal requirements and maintain policies and procedures documentation.
    • Issue and track all commission-related documents to commissionable employees and managers; maintain all relevant commission plan templates and executed agreements.
    • This role may be expected to support non-compensation-related analysis projects as needed.
    • A successful Sales Compensation Analyst will quickly build a deep understanding of the business and effectively communicate results and present recommendations to leadership team members.

    Qualifications

    Basic Qualifications

    • 2+ years experience with sales compensation/commission models, data analytics, data visualization, or data aggregation with a preference for candidates with experience specific to the SAAS industry
    • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Business, Finance, Human Resources, or related fields; or equivalent experience
    • Experience supporting Sales Compensation plans and commission structures
    • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions. Optimize existing SQL queries for performance and scalability.
    • Proficiency in Excel including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, and advanced analytical functionality.
    • Experience collaborating with Human Resources, Legal, and Payroll teams

    Desired Qualifications

    • Preferred characteristics include being results-driven, highly organized, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
    • Preferred candidates will have best-in-class data skills including SQL, Excel, dataset manipulation, and data visualization.
    • Experience with CaptivateIQ and/or DocuSign a plus.

    Additional Requirements

    • This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Orlando, FL office a minimum of three days per week.
