PASS Security, a leading System Integrator in the Greater St. Louis Region, specializes in engineering, deploying, servicing, and monitoring commercial electronic security solutions. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Fire Sales Consultant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise in electronic security and fire protection across diverse vertical markets, including healthcare, retail, higher education, logistics, and multi-site sectors.
The ideal candidate is an experienced and enthusiastic sales professional eager to learn about innovative security technologies, including video systems and artificial intelligence (AI). You will play a key role in promoting and selling fire products and services to a wide-ranging client base, including commercial, industrial, and retail prospects.
Role:
- Expand and enhance services and project outcomes for existing electronic security customers under the PASS Security business model.
- _ Hold NICET certification or become NICET certified._
- Generate new business through consultations with potential customers.
- Advise and consult with customers on the best products and services to meet their needs.
- Follow up on company-generated leads and determine appropriate products and services.
- Generate new customer leads through referrals, networking, and prospecting activities.
- Prepare estimates, proposals, and contracts.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Project Management, and Operations Team for successful project deployments and ongoing service.
- Participate in industry events and conferences to network and build expertise.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of general sales experience, electronic security, or technology-based experience is a plus.
- Strong time management and scheduling skills.
- Ability to develop objectives and strategies and manage one's own performance.
- Work collaboratively within a team.
- Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to travel locally throughout the Greater St. Louis/Metro-East Illinois Region. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
- Ability to obtain an Illinois PERC Card (required for all security industry personnel).
- Successful completion of a drug test.
The PASS Benefit:
- Base salary plus commission, compensation expectations are $75,000 - $150,000+ annually.
