RESPONSIBILITIES
As the technical sales consultant, you’ll manage the entire sales cycle for waterproofing projects, which can range from short-term emergency jobs completed to complex projects lasting six months to a year.
You will:
- Proactively build your client base through networking, referrals, and prospecting, driving new business opportunities
- Balance new client acquisition with account management, ensuring both are handled with care and precision
- Build trust with clients, establishing yourself as their go-to resource for solutions and advice
- Participate in trade shows, networking events, and lunch-and-learns to strengthen the company’s reputation and expand relationships
- Assess client needs, propose solutions, and create estimates to set up every project for success
- Use tools like the company’s CRM and Microsoft Excel to track leads, manage your pipeline, and document client interactions accurately
- Work closely with the project management team once contracts are signed, ensuring a smooth handoff and staying involved peripherally to maintain client satisfaction
- Maintain clear and responsive communication with clients and teammates to keep projects on track and everyone informed
- Seek out opportunities to grow the business while upholding the high standards of quality clients expect
** This is an in-person role with local travel around the California Bay Area required, spending most of your time meeting clients in the area and coming into the office averaging 2 days per week.**

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
- Contracting trade experience, ideally in waterproofing, but other trades such as construction, HVAC, roofing, landscaping, general contracting, or plumbing are fine as well.
- 3+ years of proven outside sales or similar revenue-generating experience
- Consultative selling experience
- Strong technical skills and comfort using tools like CRMs and Microsoft Excel
Preferred
- Experience in waterproofing, either in consulting or hands-on
- Familiarity with waterproofing materials and vendors
- Experience managing a variety of project types and sales cycles
- Account management expertise
Desired
- Licensed architect or engineer
- Estimating experience

Salary : $90k - $130k + uncapped bonuses
