Simply Ride is seeking a Motorcycle Sales Consultant!
Are you a passionate powersport and motorcycle enthusiast? So are we! Simply Ride is Minnesota’s largest pre-owned motorcycle dealership, selling hundreds of motorcycles per year, of every brand imaginable, in every style of motorcycle. Additionally, Simply Ride is Minnesota’s newest Yamaha dealership -- Selling Dirt bikes, and ATVs. Simply Ride has an unmatched inventory in quality and quantity of motorcycles in various styles such as standards, cruisers, sportbikes, and adventure bikes.
Position Accountabilities:
· Generate Sales Revenue with a focus on Gross Profit. Accomplish minimum expectations for sales close rates and demonstrate proficiency in the proven sales process at Simply Ride.
o Greeting, welcoming, and assisting customers discover at Simply Ride the motorcycle or powersports vehicle they seek.
o Must be engaging and inquisitive as to the wants and desires of the sales prospect to align the customer’s desires to the inventory choices available at Simply Ride
o Have a general knowledge of financing and insurance products to be jointly sold with the vehicle leveraging the Sales Manager or F&I Manager expertise and knowledge.
o Must be accomplished and well-versed in the various powersport and motorcycle brands, their characteristics and features and benefits among styles and across various styles.
· Processes Demonstrated & FBA (followed by all)
o Manage Guest and Lead interaction through a CRM/complete assigned call lists
o Demonstrate initiative in self-management and follow-through on assigned work or responsibilities.
o Be able to work in a fast-paced retail environment and conduct any other value-add activity for the department or other departments during slow times or seasonably slow periods.
· Collaboration & Teamwork
o Work with appropriate personnel to execute “turn-overs” to accomplish the sales close!
o Accept training and constructive criticism in the performance of the sales consultant role from peers, Sales Manager, and General Manager. Be open to new ideas and approaches.
o Work with Sales Manager to thoroughly understand, review & sell accordingly Major Units driving accomplishment of gross profit and sales revenue expectations.
· Communication –
o Exemplary communication skills, tangible and intangible with internal co-workers and customers/prospects.
o Assure all communication regardless of medium or type are entirely professional in nature.
o Be an exemplary brand ambassador of Simply Ride and conduct oneself professionally at all times particularly with interaction with coworkers and sales prospects.

Qualifications:
• Position is on-site during working hours, Tuesday – Saturday weekly.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Comfortable, adept, and efficient in communicating with people in-person, over the phone, email, social media and text messaging.
• 3+ years sales experience is preferred (experienced) but training will be provided for the right candidate(s)
• Knowledge of powersports vehicles and the passion and commitment to continually develop knowledge.
• Valid motorcycle endorsement (Selected candidates will be required to submit to a motor vehicle records check)
• Passionate motorcyclist or powersports enthusiast.
• Maintain a high level of personal and professional integrity.

Compensation Range (based on a Base + Incentive pay structure):
· Entry Level: $16 to $24+ per hour average
· Experienced: $22 to $30+ per hour average
