Our hotel is looking for a hospitality professional with sales experience to help our team increase revenue. You'll act as a go-between for the sales and the front desk, ensuring that our guests have a wonderful stay while helping to find new customers and increase our revenue growth. Additionally, you'll be responsible for responding to visitor queries, following up with referrals, and sales administrative duties. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities: • Prospect a list of company and referral leads generated through research, networking, social media, special events • Present prospective clients with sales presentations and other materials that promote event space, dining options, and facility features • Increase revenues by upselling and providing additional amenities and upgrades to customers to ensure they are entirely satisfied • Assist clients by acting as a point of contact and communicating with them by phone and email in response to their queries and requests • Help out on Front Desk and identify sales leads. Qualifications: • Outstanding organizational skills and time management • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively • Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired • Must have previous sales experience working in the hospitality industry • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales Compensation: $15 - $18 hourly
