    Our hotel is looking for a hospitality professional with sales experience to help our team increase revenue. You'll act as a go-between for the sales team and the front desk, ensuring that our guests have a wonderful stay while helping to find new customers and increase our revenue growth. Additionally, you'll be responsible for responding to visitor queries, following up with referrals, and helping the sales team with administrative duties. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills and customer service experience, preferably in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities: • Create a list of business and referral leads through research and networking and make preliminary pitches • Generate sales presentations and a variety of additional materials for prospective customers highlighting event space, dining and catering services, and facility amenities • Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests • Assist sales team by managing schedules, filing important documents, and communicating relevant information • Increase revenues by upselling and providing additional amenities and upgrades to customers to ensure they are entirely satisfied • Assist clients by acting as a point of contact and communicating with them by phone and email in response to their queries and requests • Plan and organize work schedules, file important documents, and communicate with stakeholders and hotel departments about sales-related information • Coordinates and follows up with clients on all group details and group requirements • Coordinates with the appropriate departments in the hotel, and resolves issues, complaints, and problems to ensure quality product delivery and customer satisfaction • Prepares group correspondence (group contracts, group resumes, BEOs) for the Sales Department and oversees distribution to appropriate hotel departments • Maintain accurate data entry of group information in the sales and reservations systems • Maintain accurate group file trace systems to include timely follow-ups related to applicable terms as outlined in the group contracts including but not limited to receipts of deposits, rooming lists, due dates, cut-off dates, commissions, and bonus points processing • Provide service to clients with confirmed booking contracts in accordance with hotel standards and group contract terms including timely creation of booking links, monitoring room pick up, rooming list collection and entry into the reservation system, reservation changes, and special requests • Collects proper payment for groups in accordance with group contract terms and hotel standards • Assist the sales team with site inspection rooms and sales materials needed Qualifications: • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales • High school diploma or GED, and bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred • Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively • Outstanding organizational skills and time management • Prior experience working in the hospitality sector is required
