    Customer Service Representative Job Description

    Overview

    We are Rycor (www.rycorhvac.com), the largest and fastest growing installer of heat pumps in the Northeast. Opening multiple locations and offering top pay and benefits including 401(k), paid vacation time, medical, dental, and vision.

    We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to join our team at our facility in New Paltz, NY (12561). The ideal candidate will have experience in Retail Sales and/or Customer Service, and possess excellent communication skills. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software, are also required.

    Responsibilities

    • Understands customer needs and offers solutions and support
    • Coordinate and supports all aspects of sales activities including taking initial inquiries, generating leads, proposals, referrals, and contracts
    • Works with customers to identify proper project financing options
    • Works with outside city municipalities to ensure proper paperwork is obtained and issued for all city permits needed for projects.
    • Assist sales and division managers to create effective business processes that enable improved program execution
    • Schedule all necessary follow up meetings with clients
    • Manage customer relations communicating delivery commitments and updates and suggesting products as appropriate
    • Evaluate and respond to various client requests regarding sales activity and support of outside sales staff
    • Partner with all internal departments to ensure compliance and standardization with sales administrative processes
    • Coordinates with sales representatives to provide sales documentation and satisfy customer requirements
    • Coordinate and support all aspects of sales activities including taking initial inquiries, generating leads, proposals, referrals, and contracts
    • Manage customer relations communicating delivery commitments and updates and suggesting products as appropriate

    - Track orders and respond to all customer inquiries about orders and products

    Qualifications

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Prior experience in Retail Sales and Customer Service
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Familiarity with ERP software is a plus

    Salary info:

    $25 - $28 / hr
