Sales Development Representative
(SDR) to be the first line of communication with a prospect, the ideal SDR has a strong understanding of the sales process and excels at researching leads, starting new relationships, and setting up sales closers for success. The ideal candidate must possess the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and demonstrate excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal form.
As business evolve and markets expand the need for skilled individuals who can generate leads, build customer relationships, and contribute to a company sales pipeline is paramount.
Responsibilities:
Negotiating contracts skillfully
Identify and review opportunities for bid submissions to ensure they meet the company criteria
Proofread, edit, and fact-check legal documents for accuracy and consistency
Developing and maintaining customer relationships
Collaborate with team members to obtain the required information to compile a bid
Qualifications:
Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
Familiarity with government contracting is advantageous.
