The Role
As a Sales Development Representative at RIVET, you will play a critical role in driving our growth by building the foundation of our sales pipeline. Working closely with the Marketing and Sales teams, you will focus on qualifying marketing-driven leads for sales opportunities and scheduling discovery calls. Your efforts will directly contribute to RIVET's mission to become the leading workforce management platform in the construction industry.
In this role, you will create a great first impression for prospects and customers, developing and maintaining strong engagement. You'll leverage creative communication strategies to nurture leads, support the Sales team, and ensure our CRM system is up-to-date. The experience you gain here will help you advance within RIVET, growing into roles with increasing responsibilities.
As you grow in this position, you'll enhance your sales skills, gain in-depth knowledge of our industry, and contribute to optimizing our sales processes. This is a fast-paced and evolving role where your efforts will directly impact RIVET's success.
What You'll Do
- Qualify marketing-driven leads to identify sales opportunities and pass them to Account Executives.
- Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to manage the lead pipeline and schedule discovery calls.
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through follow-up communications to increase interest in RIVET's SaaS solutions.
- Consistently meet or exceed KPIs and quotas on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Manage and update the CRM with accurate lead and customer information.
- Work closely with Account Executives to support their pipeline and develop your own sales skills.
- Provide feedback to the Marketing and Sales teams to help improve processes.
- Regularly report insights and progress to the Sales team to help refine strategies.

Even Better
- 1+ years of experience in a SaaS sales role, such as SDR, BDR, or Account Executive.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as HubSpot.
- Proven track record of qualifying leads and exceeding sales targets.
- Understanding of the B2B sales cycle and experience in the construction or SaaS industries.
