    Position Overview

    As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Informa TechTarget, you will play a crucial role in driving growth by sourcing meetings that lead to marketing programs in collaboration with some of the world’s largest brands. You'll be the first point of contact, introducing our content strategy and development expertise to both existing clients and potential prospects.

    In this role, you'll help generate revenue by developing new opportunities through phone, email, and social media outreach, supporting the Informa TechTarget Account Directors.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Lead Generation: Research, source, and secure leads to build a strong pipeline for Account Directors.
    • Outbound Sales: Make outbound sales calls to prospects within your assigned territory.
    • Team Collaboration: Actively participate in weekly meetings, celebrating achievements, exchanging insights, and tackling challenges as a team.
    • Prospect Engagement: Utilize email and social media to engage target prospects with high-level value propositions.
    • Sales Appointments: Generate qualified leads and schedule sales appointments.
    • CRM Management: Track and update prospecting progress using Salesforce CRM.
    • Continuous Learning: Expand your understanding of content marketing programs and how they unlock value for TechTarget clients by exploring innovative approaches and best practices.

    • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting persuasive messaging, presenting ideas clearly, and engaging clients effectively through email, phone, and in-person interactions.
    • Work Ethic and Motivation: Strong commitment to long-term career development, particularly in the competitive and rewarding fields of content marketing and national advertising solutions. Highly motivated and dedicated to achieving personal success.
