    This is a unique opportunity to participate in our comprehensive SDR Residency. which consists of a tuition-free, one-week Sales boot camp refresher, followed by a full-time W2, salaried, 12-week Fellowship with one of our Employer Partners (EPs), headquartered in the Midwest. Residents will receive mentorship and real-world experience to continue their careers in software sales. SDRs are pivotal to the sales cycle by focusing on top-of-funnel activities, including gathering prospect data, educating prospects, qualifying leads, and booking meetings. This role is essential for driving growth and expanding the customer base.

    Key Role Responsibilities for your Residency:

    As an Outbound SDR, you will prospect for customers, generate qualified leads for the Sales team, and become an expert on our platform and market. You will also be instrumental in building processes on an early-stage team and report to our COO:

    • Leverage prospecting tools to research companies and identify key decision-makers for our ICP (Ideal Customer Profiles)

    • Craft targeted outreach approaches and collaborate with the sales team to source prospective clients

    • Drive outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, emailing, and communicating our value proposition to decision-makers.

    • Book meetings with prospective customers within a defined ICP

    • Perform outreach before trade shows that results in scheduled meetings at the trade show

    • Travel to and represent LeadPost at trade shows and other related sales opportunities

    • Follow up and book meetings with prospective clients after trade shows.

    • Effectively communicate the company’s value proposition to decision-makers

    • Strategically optimize daily activities to improve lead-to-opportunity conversion rates

    • Add to the lead pipeline to generate Sales Accepted Qualified Opportunities.

    • Maintain impeccable records of all activities in CRM

    • Seed competitors and know the ins and outs of our top 3 competitors’ platforms and pricing models

    • Proactively stay updated on company product knowledge and market trends

    • Engage with social media platforms for monitoring, research, and sharing relevant information with content producers and respondents

    Requirements:

    • 1-2+ years of relevant experience as an outbound SDR (early-stage, tech startup team experience preferred)

    • Curiosity combined with a growth mindset

    • Passion for team collaboration

    • Confidence and drive

    • Quarterly travel to company headquarters in St. Louis, MO, and to some trade shows

    • Willingness to work standard business hours (8 AM - 5 PM CT) Mon - Fri.

    Job Type: Full-Time Employment (FTE)

    Compensation: $70K - $80K+ OTE, including base salary of $60K + target $20K commission uncapped
