As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Director to spearhead our wholesale sales efforts and build strong partnerships across the country.
Job Overview: The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to expand our presence in the wholesale market. This role will focus on building relationships with distributors and large retail chain stores, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of success in wholesale sales, particularly within the collectibles, toys, or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to grow Monmouth Cards’ private label and wholesale product distribution.
Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key accounts across the country.
Identify new business opportunities and negotiate contracts with distributors and retail partners.
Collaborate with internal teams to align product offerings, pricing, and marketing strategies with customer needs and market trends.
Monitor sales performance, analyze market data, and prepare regular reports for senior leadership.
Represent Monmouth Cards at industry events, trade shows, and meetings to promote our brand and products.
Provide insights and feedback on product development and market demands to ensure a competitive edge.
Travel as needed for sales meetings and to attend trade shows.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (5+ years) in wholesale sales, preferably within the collectibles, trading cards, toys, or related industries.
Demonstrated success working with distributors and large retail chain stores.
Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Willingness to work in an office environment and travel as needed.
Compensation and Benefits:
Annual salary range: $65,000-$75,000, plus commission and incentives.
