Our client, a leader in the building products industry, is experiencing significant growth in a key product line and is seeking a Sales Director to drive continued expansion and market presence.
The Sales Director will lead revenue growth across multiple business units by driving sales strategy, managing high-performing teams, and building key client relationships within a complex, multi-unit environment.
Responsibilities:
Design and execute an integrated sales strategy across multiple business units, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and unit-level goals
Drive revenue growth by uncovering new opportunities, expanding client portfolios, and delivering on sales targets
Lead, coach, and develop sales organization, including VPs, regional managers, and sales reps, fostering a results-driven culture
Collaborate with business unit leaders to adapt sales strategies to specific market segments, products, and customer needs
Build and sustain long-term relationships with key clients to enhance retention, satisfaction, and upsell potential
Partner with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure a unified approach to go-to-market execution and customer experience
Continuously monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to keep strategies responsive and competitive
Define and track key performance metrics such as revenue, pipeline health, conversion rates, and client satisfaction to measure success
Manage sales budgets effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and strong returns on sales initiatives
Travel monthly to company distribution centers
Qualifications:
10+ years in sales leadership, including 5+ in senior multi-unit roles
Proven success in B2B sales, and understanding of sales cycles
Candidates can reside in Boise, ID, Denver, CO, or Salt Lake City, UT for full consideration for this position
Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and data-driven decision-making
