To drive our business growth and expand our footprint, we are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to join our leadership team.
Position Overview:
As the Sales Director for Urban Air Adventure Parks, you will be responsible for leading the sales team, driving revenue growth, and establishing strong relationships with key business partners. You will develop and implement strategies that increase park attendance, drive group sales, corporate bookings, and special event sales. This role requires a creative mindset and a passion for sales, along with the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced and highly engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
\- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with Urban Air’s business objectives. Set short- and long-term goals to maximize revenue streams, including group sales, birthday parties, corporate events, and memberships.
\- Team Leadership: Manage and inspire the sales team to meet and exceed their targets. Provide mentorship, training, and support to ensure team members are equipped to achieve their sales goals.
\- Revenue Growth: Identify new revenue opportunities and partnerships. Actively pursue local business, schools, and community organizations to grow corporate and group sales.
\- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to shape sales efforts. Continuously assess the effectiveness of the sales strategy and adjust as needed to capitalize on opportunities.
\- Lead Generation: Oversee the lead generation process, ensuring the sales pipeline is consistently filled with qualified prospects. Implement best practices for CRM management to track leads and conversion rates.
\- Event Sales: Promote Urban Air’s unique experiences for birthday parties, corporate events, team-building activities, and private functions. Develop tailored sales approaches to different types of events.
\- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, schools, community leaders, and corporate clients to foster long-term partnerships.
\- Budget Management: Create and manage the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and expenses are monitored to stay within financial guidelines.
\- Brand Promotion: Represent Urban Air at local events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility and awareness within the community.
Qualifications:
\- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field.
\- 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
\- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a service-based business.
\- Strong leadership and team management skills.
\- Experience in the entertainment, hospitality, or event planning industries is preferred.
\- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
\- Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
\- Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
\- Willingness to travel locally and represent Urban Air at events and meetings.
