    • Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong partnerships with R&D engineers, procurement teams, and sourcing specialists, providing technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.
    • Solution-Oriented Selling: Act as a trusted advisor, analyzing customer requirements and offering insights into design for manufacturability, material selection, and cost-effective production methods.
    • Quotation & Proposal Support: Collaborate with internal engineering, estimating, and production teams to develop accurate quotes and competitive proposals tailored to customer needs.
    • Industry Awareness & Competitive Intelligence: Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor capabilities, providing insights that drive continuous improvement and innovation within the company.
    • Project Management & Execution Oversight: Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth project implementation, monitor production timelines, and address any technical or logistical challenges that arise.

    Sales Engineer Requirements:

    • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
    • Technical Experience: 3-5 years in a technical sales or engineering role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in sheet metal fabrication, CNC machining, or metal stamping.
    • Engineering & CAD Proficiency: Hands-on experience with SolidWorks (or equivalent 3D design software), along with familiarity with knowledge management systems.
    • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to explain complex engineering concepts in a clear, compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong presentation skills are a plus.
    • Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with the ability to assess technical challenges and devise innovative solutions.
    • Relationship-Driven Mindset: The ability to build trust and credibility with clients, ensuring long-term partnerships through responsiveness, reliability, and industry expertise.
