Sales Engineer - Plastics Manufacturing - Base Salary to 90k/year - Hartford, CT

• Our client is an industry-leading plastics manufacturer. They are seeking a Sales Engineer with a strong technical background in plastic injection molding.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for expanding client base by proactively identifying and sourcing custom plastic injection molding opportunities for production
• Effectively demonstrating technical features of injection molding capabilities to prospective clients
• Driving sales by building and maintaining strong business relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty
• Travelling to customer sites and providing personalized service and support as well as managing on-site visits to showcase the facility and processes
• Collaborating with Engineering teams to develop accurate and competitive price quotes and proposals tailored to client needs
• Consistently meeting and exceeding established sales goals, tracking progress and adjusting strategies to maximize success

Qualifications:

• Must have 3+ years technical sales experience.
• Must have Bachelor’s degree.
• Must have plastic injection molding experience.
• Experience managing/growing sales accounts.
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to customer sites.

Compensation:

• Base salary to 90k/year, plus competitive commission structure.
