Responsibilities: • Act as the main contact for group bookings, corporate events, and weddings, from planning to flawless execution. • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets for rooms, events, and ancillary services. • Build and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships and repeat business. • Conduct regular outreach, including prospecting, cold calling, and hosting site visits to attract new business opportunities. • Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring all terms align with business goals and client needs. • Oversee event details, including room setup, catering, audiovisual requirements, and vendor coordination, ensuring seamless operations. • Lead weekly meetings with hotel leadership to provide updates on sales performance, event planning progress, and revenue projections. • Work closely with the Revenue Manager and General Manager to set room rates, optimize group bookings, and adjust strategies to meet market demands. • Create and manage a dynamic calendar of events, ensuring the hotel maintains visibility within the community and industry. • Collaborate with marketing to maintain consistent branding and launch impactful campaigns. • Leverage social media platforms and digital marketing tools to promote events, group bookings, and special promotions. • Monitor and manage online reviews, ensuring positive guest experiences are highlighted and concerns are addressed professionally. • Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events, and local networking opportunities to generate leads and boost visibility. • Actively participate in networking opportunities to drive new business. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local vendors, businesses, and community organizations to enhance partnerships and cross-promotional opportunities. • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system, tracking client interactions, lead status, and booking details. • Analyze sales trends, generate reports, and identify opportunities for growth. • Train and mentor team members involved in event coordination and guest services to ensure consistency in service delivery. • Stay informed about competitor offerings and market trends to keep the property competitive. • Coordinate with hotel operations teams to ensure events run smoothly and align with brand standards. • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, policies, and procedures related to contracts, safety, and guest privacy. Qualifications: • Experience: 5+ years in hospitality, sales or event management preferred. • Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with hotel software is a plus. • Personality: Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and a team player with a guest-first mindset. • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred. Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 + competitive commission structure
