Rate of Pay: $25.00-26.50 per hour
** RESPONSIBILITIES**
Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external clients
Assist in qualifying leads, researching space, and entering bookings in Opera Sales and Catering and responding to client(s) either personally, or by directing to the appropriate salesperson(s)
Preparation of contracts and proposals
Preparation and processing of group definite contract turnovers
Record and track leads for responses and due dates
Assist Sales Managers in conducting site inspections of the Hotel
Maintain/order current printed sales and promotional collaterals and office supplies
Coordinate with other departments within the hotel to ensure distribution of important information
Prepare and disseminate regular sales department reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly basis Attend all sales meetings
Provide administrative duties as required by Sales Managers and Director of Group Sales
Regular Sales Office phone coverage
Assist with preparation and follow-up of sales trips including expense reporting
Prepare purchase orders and process invoices, including third party group commissions
Assist with duties of Sales Managers when they are absent from the office
Facilitate travel planning and manage expense reports
Manage schedule of meetings, corporate visits, reservations etc.
Combining weekly reports for submission
Maintain an organized work environment
Other duties as assigned
