Job Summary

Great Bend Appliance Center is looking for a Sales Expert to join our team! As a Sales Expert, you will be the welcoming face of Great Bend Appliance dealing with customer questions about the products, brands, and services that we offer. It will be your job to create a rapport with customers and to keep them happy. We want our customers to feel free to ask any question they have about the products. You will constantly expand your knowledge on company products, services, and features. We strive to equip customers with the knowledge to make an informed decision about the products they buy. This is your responsibility to help equip them. You will also be challenged with handling customer objections and retaining customers through exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing floor displays, products, and keeping the sales floor clean. If physically able, you will be asked to assist on deliveries when the need arises.

Responsibilities:

Greeting customers, answering questions, engaging customers with product knowledge, and providing exceptional customer service

Guiding customers to the merchandise that fits their needs

Organizing and keeping a neat appearance throughout the sales floor

Strong product knowledge to show customers the difference between models

Contribute to the department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis

Passionately seek out customers in the store

Build rapport with customers

Figure pricing & learn to match a competitor's price

Go on deliveries when needed (if capable)

Load products onto vehicles (if capable)

Help unload trucks (if capable)

Qualifications:

Proven success in sales

Professional appearance

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Personable and friendly attitude

Ability to work in fast-paced environments

Understanding of sales principles

Working knowledge of computers and basic understanding of spreadsheets
