General Job Description
****We are looking for an efficient, courteous Sales Floor Associate who possesses excellent customer service skills. The Sales Floor Associate is responsible for ensuring that our valued customers have a positive and memorable experience while shopping at HomeBuys. Greeting customers promptly and courteously; guiding customers to departments if necessary; recovering and reorganizing the sales floor; ringing out customers at the cashwrap; and stocking are just some of the tasks that fall under the Sales Floor Associate role.

To succeed as a Sales Floor Associate, you should have a strong work ethic and high level of accuracy. You should be responsible, attentive to customer needs, and committed to providing excellent service.

**Responsibilities
** • Provides a positive customer experience with fair, friendly, and courteous service
• Registers sales on a cash register by scanning items, itemizing, and totaling customers' purchases
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions
• Provides pricing information by answering questions
• Maintains sales floor operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

**Education & Skills
**• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Friendly and positive attitude
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new policies and procedures in a fast paced environment
• Attention to detail
• High school diploma or equivalent desired
• 0-1 years of retail experience desired

**Hours & Compensation
**• Able to work a flexible schedule: evenings, weekends, and holidays required
• Part time hours available
• $14/hour or commensurate with experience
