Responsibilities
Sales Forecasting Analyst
Responsibilities:
Supports Account Managers in completing sound sales forecasts on year-round basis
Analyses trends, seasonality and establishes weekly forecast per market area
Establishes forecast planning schedules and ensures the Sales team’s adherence to timelines
Ensures accuracy of forecasts in planning system
Ensures item and customer data maintenance through regular audits
Teams with Inventory and Production teams to ensure material is ordered within lead time to meet customer orders
Provides updated forecast in weekly SIOP planning meetings with Procurement, Inventory and Production leads for review
Prepares weekly corporate sales reports
Prepares ad hoc plan vs. actual analyses
Other duties as requested and /or assigned.
Skills / Abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or operational management
MBA is preferred
Analytical sales operations or accounting/financial analysis experience
Experience with Sales Force, MS Excel at an advanced level and other planning tools.
Strong planning, organizing and project management skills with focus on meeting deadlines
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage ever-changing priorities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to daily work cross-departmentally in an even-keeled manner
Compensation
$105,000-$120,000 per year
