  • Responsibilities

    Sales Forecasting Analyst

    Responsibilities:

    • Supports Account Managers in completing sound sales forecasts on year-round basis
    • Analyses trends, seasonality and establishes weekly forecast per market area
    • Establishes forecast planning schedules and ensures the Sales team’s adherence to timelines
    • Ensures accuracy of forecasts in planning system
    • Ensures item and customer data maintenance through regular audits
    • Teams with Inventory and Production teams to ensure material is ordered within lead time to meet customer orders
    • Provides updated forecast in weekly SIOP planning meetings with Procurement, Inventory and Production leads for review
    • Prepares weekly corporate sales reports
    • Prepares ad hoc plan vs. actual analyses
    • Other duties as requested and /or assigned.

    Skills / Abilities:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or operational management
    • MBA is preferred
    • Analytical sales operations or accounting/financial analysis experience
    • Experience with Sales Force, MS Excel at an advanced level and other planning tools.
    • Strong planning, organizing and project management skills with focus on meeting deadlines
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and manage ever-changing priorities
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to daily work cross-departmentally in an even-keeled manner
  • Compensation
    $105,000-$120,000 per year
