    Background:

    Culligan, The WaterProfessionals, consisting of four award winning Culligan International franchises, has served East Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, Western North Carolina, and Upstate South Carolina since 1947. The WaterProfessionals leads the industry in providing high tech filtered drinking water for offices and industry utilizing attractive touch-free coolers with integrated ice makers to replace traditional delivery of 5-gallon bottled water. Customer benefits include reduced chance of back injury from employees lifting 45 lb. bottles, regained space utilization by eliminating storage of full and empty 5-gal bottles, reduced vendor access into workspaces, streamlined, single monthly invoice, elimination of plastic bottles and continuous internal sanitization of dispensers.

    Our sales process involves installation of a free two-week trial. We close over 90% of trials with rental agreements including turnkey maintenance, with zero up front capital cost to a prospect. This is a tangible product which generates excitement among users through hands-on utilization.

    This business has expanded by 40% per year over seven years and we need someone to improve the professionalism and effectiveness of our current team and expand the team for continued aggressive growth.

    Description: The bottle-free cooler (BFC) Sales Manager leads the company’s efforts to drive profitable growth and expand market presence by managing the sales of our bottle-free products and services. This role involves strategic planning, guiding the sales team and developing actionable goals that align with both immediate and long-term growth objectives. By fostering a high-performing sales environment, the Sales Manager ensures consistent revenue and profit growth associated with aggressive growth of market share in each territory.

    Compensation: Dependent on background, experience and ability to corroborate past performance through references, compensation could be in the range of $125,000 base plus bonus potential to $175,000 annually.

    Responsibilities:

    Manages a team of 7 salespeople in four locations.

    Collaborates with the General Manager and Owner in establishing and recommending sales goals for the Company.

    Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.

    Provides continuous training through weekly remote meetings which include frequent role playing.

    Spends at least 80% of time in the field coaching, training and assisting sales team to improve account penetration and closing, with emphasis on strategizing and calling on large prospects in the territories.

    Ensure that company resources are effectively coordinated to achieve consistent and efficient sales results.

    Assist sales team members in building meaningful connections with key decision-makers.

    Develop training programs and seminars to boost skills in new account acquisition, product expansion, profitability, and competitive strategies.

    Work with the General Manager to set and oversee budgets for sales promotions and trade shows, ensuring optimal spending and ROI.

    Requirements:

    A minimum of five years of related experience or training in business-to-business outside sales, or the equivalent combination of formal education and experience.

    A minimum of three years of management/supervisory experience in related field

    Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, co-workers, subordinates, all levels of business professionals, and the general public.

    Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, is required.

    Must be able to drive a minimum of 6 hours per day.

    Well-organized with good communication and time management skills.
