Job Overview:
A leader in advanced woodworking machinery, is seeking a proactive Sales Manager to enhance our Woodworking Division. This role ideally suits a candidate based in Greensboro, NC, with a preference for individuals fluent in Spanish. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, forging strong customer relationships, and maintaining an in-depth understanding of market dynamics within the woodworking industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic sales plans tailored to meet and exceed corporate objectives.
- Identify business opportunities by understanding prospects' requirements and transforming them into business proposals.
- Maintain and expand customer base by building and maintaining rapport with key customers and identifying new customer opportunities.
- Provide detailed sales forecasts and reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data and trends.
- Liaise with the marketing department to develop and implement effective marketing strategies.
- Participate in industry trade shows and conferences to boost brand visibility and develop further industry connections.
- Offer feedback on market trends and competitive activities to enhance product development and marketing strategies.
- Manage complex sales negotiations, attend sales presentations, and support the drafting of contracts to ensure that all sales opportunities are captured and explored.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven track record in sales, specifically within the woodworking machinery industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with proficiency in English and preferably Spanish.
- Excellent negotiation and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet business demands.
