We’re hiring a driven and strategic sales manager to capture new business, and local corporate accounts, and assist us hit our occupancy and Year over year-over-year growth sales goals. You’ll identify accounts with growth opportunities in occupancy, prospect new business in the area heavily and actively, and respond quickly to hotel incoming leads, assisting us in increasing our overall revenue. The ideal candidate is a natural leader, has a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, is self-efficient, can work in any environment, and has direct hotel room sales experience. Ideally, you would be the kind of person who would be ready each day to conquer the day and never take no for an answer. This position would be a hybrid position, with the candidate being out heavily in the field of Overland Park and surrounding cities and attending hotel meetings as required at the hotel property. This person would also be tracking all calls, sales appointments, prospecting efforts, emails, and maintenance calls in a system to be reviewed by hotel leadership. Responsibilities: • Create sales reports and present to the team that outline sales efforts including progress and sales volume to better determine future goals • Determine our sales strategies and sales objectives to hit our sales goals • Continue company growth by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs • Cultivate long-lasting customer relationships to meet customer needs, and mitigate any complaints to ensure continued business Qualifications: • Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales • Exemplary communication skills, leadership skills, and analytical skills • 3-5 years of experience in sales management as a sales executive or in a leadership role in the sales department Compensation: $50,000 - $55,000 yearly
