    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Recruit, hire, and train sales teams to build and maintain strong customer relations.
    • Understand and implement company culture and selling value to our customers
    • Be the collective voice of the sales group to assist where needed to improve
    • Work with sales reps to solve problems and offer solutions to customers.
    • Work with suppliers to coordinate sales meetings and lead generation programs
    • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals as needed
    • Assess current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team
    • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
    • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
    • Foster a competitive yet collaborative team environment
    • Assess individual performance and suggest corrective actions as needed
    • Be a leader to the sales group and actively support all company initiatives

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales (packaging experience)
    • Prior experience leading a sales team (management experience)
    • Extremely strong oral and written communication skills
    • Capacity to work independently
    • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
    • Excellent leadership and management skills
    • Strong negotiation and relationship development skills
    • Experience setting sales goals
    • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
    • Deep understanding of customer relations and customer service.
