Position Overview
As the Sales Operations Manager, you will lead the B2B sales team to exceed revenue targets while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and operational excellence. This high-impact role provides the opportunity to shape sales strategies, optimize processes, and contribute directly to the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Set revenue and margin goals, lead the sales team with clear KPIs, and drive accountability through regular 1:1 meetings.
- Strategic Planning: Partner with the executive team to define growth objectives, develop prospecting and retention strategies, and align territory goals.
- HubSpot Implementation: Oversee the implementation of HubSpot, establishing effective reporting structures.
- Data-Driven Insights: Analyze sales performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Team Development: Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance the team’s skills and performance.
- Event Management: Plan and execute tradeshow strategies, coordinate VIP events, and oversee team participation during peak seasons.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with marketing and other departments to align sales strategies with broader company objectives.
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead hiring efforts for new sales team members and ensure a seamless onboarding process.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Experience in the promotional products industry is a plus.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, particularly HubSpot.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams.
- Results-driven with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000 to $125,000.
- Performance Bonus: Opportunities to earn bonuses tied to achieving growth targets across all representatives and product lines, with payouts based on revenue milestones.
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): Total compensation, including base salary and bonuses, is expected to range from $150,000 to $175,000.
