  • Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    Leads/facilitates the sales function for the company. Directs the maintenance and development of sales strategy including but not limited to products, markets, pricing and profitability. Analyzes development opportunities to include current and new accounts and markets. Acts as negotiator and sales representative in key business situations. Enhances productivity by measuring, controlling and improving business processes within the sales function.

    Position Responsibilities:

    Recommends pricing policies, pricing practices and specific pricing decisions relating to all customer accounts.

    Leads sales process, including analysis of competitive products and services and the determination of sales budgets. Administers marketing budget and is responsible for correct estimates of marketing, distribution and selling costs.

    Forecast current and long-term sales goals and objectives. Carries primary responsibility of the attainment of sales and gross profit objectives.

    Analyze specified products/service strategies in light of market information. Recommends and implements appropriate course of action for development of products, services and markets.

    Working with the business team, assists in development and carries out marketing and sales policies that are consistent with company plans and objectives. Creates a communication system which improves efficiency and collaboration.

    Supervises Customer Service and assures that all personnel are properly qualified, trained and supervised to perform their job effectively.

    Works closely with customer service to assure that a satisfactory level of customer and product service is provided.

    Performs other duties as required by management.

    Required Education and Experience:

    Minimum B.S. degree or equivalent with 5+ years marketing/sales experience.

    Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize plans and tasks quickly.

    Working knowledge of production equipment, process and products as it relates to the custom coating business.

    Broad understanding of all department functions e.g. finance, technical, quality and the necessary interactions for business success.

    Good P.C. skills.

    Willing and able to travel.
